The sooner the better! Prenatal consults are so much fun and a great way to prepare for baby!

    Once baby arrives:

Meeting with your lactation consultant right after birth can greatly improve your overall feeding experience.

    Days 3-5 of baby’s life:

Assess feeding plan, weight check, discuss any concerns or questions you might have.

    2 weeks postpartum:

Baby should be back to birth weight by day 14. This is also an expected growth spurt period. Time to talk about baby behavior & get a weight check.

Anytime there is pain, issues with weight gain, troubles navigating feeding plans, mental exhaustion, or someone in your family has questions.
